Objective
Develop critical thinking and communication skills by engaging with recent developments in physics or analyzing foundational scientific research.
Assignment Guidelines

Platform:
Use WordPress.com to create and publish your blog posts. You can either use an existing account or create a new one for this assignment. - Content Options (Choose one per week):
- Physics News: Summarize and reflect on significant physics-related news from the past week. Include:
- The source of the news (e.g., journal articles, reputable science news outlets).
- A brief summary of the topic (what happened, why it matters).
- Your analysis of its implications for science, technology, or society.
- Scientific Paper Analysis: Select a basic physics-related scientific paper. Discuss:
- The paper’s main hypothesis, methods, and conclusions.
- How it contributes to the field.
- Questions or insights you have about the study.
- Physics News: Summarize and reflect on significant physics-related news from the past week. Include:
- Word Count:
- Minimum 300 words per post.
- Aim for clarity and conciseness.
- Structure:
- Title: Create an engaging title for each blog post.
- Introduction: Introduce the topic or paper and explain its context.
- Body: Provide your summary, analysis, and reflections.
- Conclusion: Highlight key takeaways or pose questions for readers.

Include at least one visual (e.g., an image, chart, or infographic) to enhance understanding and engagement. Ensure proper attribution for any external media. -
Citations:
Use hyperlinks or a reference list to credit your sources properly. - Submission:
- Publish the blog on WordPress and share the link with the instructor via aaron@stjohn.edu.et.
- Ensure the blog is public or that a guest link is provided for access.

Deadline
Weekly posts must be published by Friday of every week.
Note: Late submissions may incur a penalty of 20%.
